Hyde Park: 'This is the cream of the crop!'
So your big day has come and gone and things are getting some what back to normal, but before you think that ask yourself did you and your new spouse think of a place to live? Not to fret! Within this article you will find the top five Rexburg married housing complexes based on location, history, pricing and unique facts and amenities. So let’s get started on finding that special new place to start your lives together.

Pick #5: Valinda Lane
Located just south of campus, you will find Valinda Lane. They offer 3-bedroom, 1 ½-bathroom townhouses which include washer, dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher, disposal and microwave. Monthly rent is only $725 a month with a $500 deposit.  There are several that say this is as close to a house as you can get without actually buying a house. For being a small yet great complex, Valinda Lane Apartments offers unique amenities such as covered parking, playground area, barbecue ground, and on-site laundry.
Pick #4: Hyde Park
Located at, 707 S 5th West in Rexburg Idaho. Here you will find a variety of two-to-three-bedroom apartments. For a 2-bedroom and 1-bath apartment, the monthly rent will be $530. A 3-bedroom and 2-bathroom rental will be $901. Both contracts require a deposit upon signing of lease. Now don’t get this confused with other Hyde Park places in town, this is the cream of the crop! A past attendant states, “We lived in Hyde Park from April 08 - July 09 and loved it! After we had our little one it was a little small but that’s to be expected. Great neighbors and family ward. There is lots of room outside to play/hangout. Plenty of parking.... we miss it!” (Hansen) Also found within this apartment complex are some unique amenities, such as plenty of parking, playground area, on site manager, and commons area.
Pick #3: University Village
Located at, 111 West 7th South in Rexburg Idaho. The price for a two-bedroom runs $685 per month, and a three-bedroom will run $735 a month. Rental price includes electricity, gas, water, garbage removal, routine maintenance, heat, cable TV, and high speed internet access.  Several married couples and ward bishops have recommended University Village—heck I would too if I had closets like they do!  Also included within this complex are some unique amenities such as playgrounds, ample parking, and a huge commons area equipped with tons of entertainment.

Pick #2: Stonebrook
Located west of campus, you will find Stone Brook, where you will find a “world of ease and elegance.” The price of such elegance will run from $515 a month for a one-bedroom-and-bath apartment, to $605 per month for a two-bedroom-and-one-bath. Each contact has a required deposit of $350.  Stone Brook holds some unique features including a hot-tub, playground area, computer room, and lounge area equipped with pool table, ping pong, and so much more.  Several have recommended Stone Brook for its easy access to town, a great family ward, and a nice open floor plan (Kinslie).

Pick#1:  The Village
Located just south of campus, The Village is Rexburg’s premier apartment home community. The Village offers married couples more floor plan options than any other apartment community, along with larger floor plans, matchless design, high-quality construction, superior amenities, dedicated onsite management, park-like grounds, and a convenient location just blocks from BYU-Idaho and downtown. The Village offers a wide range of prices and floor plans, from Chelsea studio apartments to 3-plus den-size townhouses, starting at $500 and going up depending on the floor plan. There are several great unique features for this apartment complex: a great community center, with a full workout room, pool/ping pong room, computer room, commons area, which is great for family and friend get-to-togethers, and large gatherings, but best of all it holds a theater room! After several years of living in Rexburg, I have only heard great things about these apartments! I hear they are roomy, clean, and quiet, with great service, and are perfect for a starter place. I myself have lived here and loved it!
